From JOHN S. LUMSDEN, Esq., D.SC., Lecturer on Chemistry, and Principal of Technical College and School of Art, Dundee.
Miss PETRICIA Y. ANDERSON was a member of the class in Elementary Physics and Chemistry taught by me, while she was a student at the Training College.
In that class a course of lessons, principally carried out in the laboratory, was worked through, in which such fundamental experiments in Physics and Chemistry were performed as could readily be reproduced before a class of average pupils. Miss ANDERSON did a fair share of the work, and should be able to fit up and carry ont the experiments which she then saw done, and to give the necessary explanations suited to the class of pupils she was teaching.
